Elg Spirits is the Danish gin producer who has scored the most medals at the annual international taste test in London. Out of the 45 medals awarded to Danish products, the 28 products went from the Stone Grange distillery on the edge of Esrum Lake just north of Fredensborg.
The 24 medals went to Elg Gin, in particular Elg No. 0 and No. 1, but also several of Stone Grange and Henrik Elsner's other spirits products received medals and honorable mention. This applies to products that come on the market during the year, including sloe gin and cask aged gin, fell in the judges' liking. This year, however, Stone Grange did not win any gold medals, but only the beautiful 28 silver and bronze medals.
