In the spring of 2019, Henrik Elsner bottled his first bottles of vodka. One of these was nominated for a review by the judging panel of The International Spirits Challenge.
Each year, more than 1,700 different bottles of alcohol are set for evaluation in one of the ten different categories. And Henrik Elsner ran with a good rating. His Elg Vodka is based on wheat and distilled through 24 carat gold. That concept judged the judges of The International Spirits Challenge for a silver medal.
Since 2010, master distiller Henrik Elsner has had his focus on making some of the world's best gin, but the curiosity to create the good 'outstanding' taste has thrown him into new adventures, where he experiments with other types of spirits.
Vodka distilled through 24 carat gold
And in In the spring of 2019, the first bottles of Danish distilled vodka were poured into bottles. ELG VODKA was created. It is based on wheat and distilled through 24 carat gold, which gives the vodka a soft and pure taste.
It's something very special and we know it tastes extra good in a bloody mary.
