Science meets the craft of distillation
ELG Spirits was founded in 2009 by Lake Esrum in North Zealand. The distillery was founded by Henrik Elsner—a PhD in organic chemistry—and every batch is based on a scientific understanding of raw materials, aroma, and distillation.
The result is spirits where the raw materials and distillation are the starting point—not marketing. From classic gin and aquavit to brandy aged for 16 years in casks.
