Halloween...
Halloween has gradually taken over and become the year's big (and best excuse) to throw a party - and preferably come in costume. And even if you're not into costumes or "trick-or-treating", as a gin lover, you can still look forward to it 😉 😉 😉
Once you've got the carved pumpkins, the menu, the spooky decorations, and the Halloween playlist sorted, it's time to set the drinks menu.
We've gathered three drinks that we know will create a (spooky) good evening.

Black Cat Martini
According to old superstition, a black cat is associated with bad luck. But surely your guests will consider themselves lucky when you welcome them with this "Black Cat Martini"?
✔️ 50ml ELG Gin No 0 or Elg Gin No 1.
✔️ 25ml blue curaçao
✔️ 15ml Chambord (or a similar black-purple "berry liqueur")
✔️ A small squeeze of lemon or lime
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the ingredients. Shake well before pouring the contents into chilled martini glasses.

Waiter, there's an eye in my gin & tonic
This unique, eye-catching gin and tonic is easy to make - and tastes a lot better than it looks.
For the eyeball:
✔️ Small lychees
✔️ Jam made from either raspberries, blackcurrants, or blueberries
✔️ Whole blueberries
✔️ Red food coloring
To make the "eyeball", drain the lychee. Make a small hole so you can squeeze a little jam into the hole. Gently press a blueberry into the center.
Use a toothpick or a thin brush to paint "bloodshot" veins. You can optionally freeze the eyeballs until you need them.
For the drink
✔️ 35ml ELG Gin No 0 or 1.
✔️ 120ml cranberry juice
✔️ Half a lemon or lime
✔️ 2 tsp syrup or honey
Fill a glass 2/3 with ice, pour gin and syrup or honey together, squeeze plenty of lemon or lime juice into the drink. Top with cranberry juice, stir gently, and garnish with the "eyeball".

Blackberry & Gin Halloween Punch
Devilishly dark, devilishly delicious
- A small bowl of blackberries
- Juice from two limes or lemons
- 60ml blackberry syrup
- 180ml gin
- 400ml tonic water
To make your own blackberry syrup, simmer 200g of sugar with 200ml of water and a bowl of blackberries. Remember to stir gently to "break down" the berries. After 5-10 minutes, you'll have a sticky, thick, and dark syrup. Set it aside to cool in either the freezer or refrigerator.
For your "punch bowl".
Fill a pitcher with plenty of ice and add the ingredients. Stir well, but gently, with a long spoon until the entire drink is chilled.
